Bookings are made with Travel Just 4U (Stikkybun Pty Ltd trading as Travel Just 4U ABN: 65 660 467 464). By booking a trip and making a deposit payment, you are agreeing to these Booking Conditions (which constitutes the entire agreement between you and us). The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation invoice.
Please note that all proposed itinerary prices are subject to change, without notice, until your booking deposit has been paid. Itinerary proposals are subject to hotel and tour availability until they are fully confirmed after deposit payments have been received. This confirmation process happens within 3 to 15 days (approximately) after we receive your deposit.
A non-refundable deposit of 20% per person of your total booking value together with a completed booking form, and passport details, is required to confirm your trip. All airfares that are included in your itinerary will need to be paid in full at time of confirmation of the booking. The final trip balance is due 90 days before departure. If your booking is made within 90 days of the departure date, then the full amount of the itinerary is payable at the time of booking. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if either the deposit payment or final payment is not paid by the relevant due date. In the event of cancellation, the cancellation conditions set out below will apply.
If there is a specific amount required in addition to these standard deposit amounts, for example in the case of cruise or special lodge bookings, your Travel Just 4U sales contact will notify you at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable, but in some cases, at our discretion, deposits may be transferable to another Travel Just 4U booking.
For group bookings (6 persons or more), a progress payment of 40% is due half-way between the booking date and the final balance payment date, leaving 40% of the total booking value as your final balance.
Cancellation by the Traveller
Cancellation of reservations must be provided to us in writing and are subject to the following cancellation fees:
More than 90 days before departure – loss of deposit and flight costs
89 to 60 days before departure – 50% of total trip value (excluding flights)
59 to 30 days before departure – 75% of total trip value (excluding flights)
Within 30 days of departure – 100% of total trip value (excluding flights)
Cancellation due to Government Covid-19 Restrictions
If travel cancellation is due to government Covid-19 travel restrictions, the following conditions will apply:
More than 90 days before departure – full deposit refund, flights subject to airline refund policy
89 to 30 days before departure – 50% cash refund, 50% in a travel credit, flights subject to airline refund policy
Within 30 days of departure – 100% of total trip value in a travel credit, flights subject to airline refund policy
Please ensure that you have read the specific terms and conditions of your airfare.
Special cancellation charges which may be higher than those listed above apply to cruises (including Antarctica, Patagonian Fjords, Galapagos Islands, Amazon River), rail holidays, specialty accommodation and special event holidays. These additional charges are set by our suppliers and vary per supplier. Please check with your consultant at the time of booking.
Please note that itineraries may be based on special airfares. Depending on the airlines, these can incur cancellation charges once the tickets have been issued. These charges are in addition to the cancellation charges set out above and, in some cases, can be as high as 100% once the ticket has been issued. Airlines are responsible for the timing of refunds of air tickets. You are strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking which, depending on the reason for your cancellation, may cover some or all the charges above.
No refunds are payable on unused or partially utilised sections of the tour itinerary, where passengers amend, cancel, or otherwise vary arrangements after departure. Travel Just 4U does not authorise any overseas suppliers, including hotel management, to promise refunds on our behalf.
Travel & Accommodation
Travel Just 4U does not own aircrafts, hotels or coaches. The flights, coach journeys, other travel and hotel accommodation booked by Travel Just 4U are provided by reputable carriers and hoteliers on their own conditions. It is important to note, therefore, that all bookings are subject to the terms and conditions and limitations imposed by the individual airlines, coach operators, hoteliers as well as other service providers (including but not limited to shipping, rail, car hire, and restaurant service providers) who provide services in relation to your holiday.
Some of these terms and conditions may permit the service provider to cancel, delay, divert or substitute services at their discretion (for example, due to extreme weather conditions), and may limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage.
Please note that local governments or tour providers abroad may have Covid-19 specific conditions in place when Travel Just 4U clients travel. Travel Just 4U will endeavour to share all of these requirements prior to travel but given the changing nature of local conditions, it is entirely the travellers responsibility to review these upon arrival.
Amendments to itineraries to suit individual requirements may be made in most instances. When alterations are requested after bookings are confirmed, additional costs and administrative expenses may be applicable in arranging the alteration. Alterations will be made at our discretion and may not always be possible.
Airline Schedule Changes
Travel Just 4U is not responsible for any schedule changes imposed by airlines. Whilst we will do our best to reschedule your transfers and accommodation, Travel Just 4U is not responsible for any additional costs nor services missed as a result of an airline-imposed schedule change.
Risk & Liability
By making a booking, you agree to accept all risks associated with the holiday. We exclude, and you unconditionally release us from, all liability, including without limitation in contract and in tort, for any cause of action, including any injury, damage, loss, cost, delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly as a result of the inherent risks associated with your travel, or any force majeure events or other events which are beyond our control, including but not limited to war, civil disobedience, terrorism, insurrection, accident, explosion, sickness, fire, floods, severe weather, acts of god, acts of Government, alteration or cancellation of scheduled air services, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action.
You will be visiting places where the political, cultural and geographical attributes may present dangers and physical challenges greater than those present in your daily life. We use information from government foreign departments and reports from our own contacts in assessing whether your itinerary should operate. However, it is also your own responsibility to acquaint yourself with all possible relevant travel information and the nature of your itinerary.
If we, or our service providers, are affected in any way by a force majeure event, we may in our discretion vary or cancel any itinerary or arrangement in relation to the tour as we consider necessary, without incurring any liability to you. Travel Just 4U does not accept any responsibility for loss of enjoyment, delays or compensation resulting from circumstances beyond Travel Just 4U’s control.
Each service provider is responsible for the part of the holiday it conducts. Service providers are not our agents or employees and are not under our direct control. We do not accept, and you release us from, all liability for any injury, loss, damage, costs or expenses, including without limitation any property damage or personal injury, that you may suffer which arises out of any act or omission of a service provider or operator who provides services in connection with your holiday.
You are responsible for any injury, loss, damage, costs or expenses arising through your own fault. You agree to indemnify us against all actions, proceedings, claims, demands, expenses and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis and whether incurred by or awarded against us) as a result of, or arising in relation to, whether directly or indirectly, your holiday participation.
Health & Fitness
A minimum level of fitness is required to be able to go on a Travel Just 4U holiday. As a minimum you will need to be able to walk 2km on uneven surfaces, carry your own luggage, and walk up a few flights of stairs with ease.
You must inform us before the commencement of your holiday of any medical condition that you have which may affect your ability to travel with us. We exclude all liability for any illness, injury or death sustained by you during your holiday as a result of any pre-existing medical condition. We will not be responsible for, and you agree to release us from, any liability arising out of any medical condition, illness or injury that you may suffer during your holiday or as a result of your holiday.
You should consult your doctor or travel medical specialists in your home state before travel regarding any inoculations, medications and other health precautions that should be taken in relation to travel within the regions comprising your holiday.
Travel insurance is not included in the price of your itinerary. It is a condition of travelling with Travel Just 4U that you have comprehensive travel insurance with unlimited medical expenses cover and unlimited repatriation expenses cover, for the full duration of your journey. It is strongly recommended to extend your coverage to include cancellation, curtailment, and all other expenses that may arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience while traveling. We will be able to advise you on request about travel insurance packages. However, you are solely responsible for obtaining the appropriate insurance cover as set out above.
All payments to Travel Just 4U can be made by the following methods:
- Direct Deposit – We require payment to clear into our account prior to issuing any urgent services, such as flights, on your booking. Our bank details are on your invoice.
- Credit Card – We operate a Secure Payment gateway that will accept Credit Card payment. Service charges do apply and are detailed on your invoice.
Travel Documents & Taxes
It is your responsibility to ensure that all passports have appropriate validity, visas, travel permits, health certificates and other documentation required for your holiday are obtained and are in order. You must also pay all required taxes and ticket levies, which are payable in relation to your holiday. You are responsible for any additional costs incurred by either us or you as a result of any failure to comply with these requirements.
Consent to Conditions
By making any booking, you agree to comply with these Booking Conditions and warrant that you have obtained agreement to these Booking Conditions from all other travellers in your booking.
We make no guarantee about the accuracy of the information displayed on the Travel Just 4U website or in publicity materials and exclude all liability for any errors or omissions in those materials. All information should be checked prior to booking.
Additional Arrangements While Travelling
Your final documentation states the name and telephone number of our local representatives for any assistance with difficulties or changes. If you need to alter your arrangements once overseas or to add services to your booking, you may do this through our local representative. Any additional costs incurred must be paid directly to the supplier of the service and may not be charged back to Travel Just 4U.
We cannot be held responsible for any subsequent complaint with arrangements booked directly with suppliers abroad. Cancellations of confirmed services must be notified through Travel Just 4U even if you have advised the local representative. Travel Just 4U does not authorize the employees of any overseas supplier to promise refunds to clients.
We endeavor to ensure that all your arrangements proceed smoothly. Occasionally, problems can occur while you are away, in which case it is essential to try and resolve it locally with the provider of the service. If you are unhappy with your hotel room, please inform hotel staff so the situation may be rectified on the spot.
If you fail to take these steps locally, any claim to compensation from Travel Just 4U may be reduced or denied. If you have an unresolved complaint, this should be put to us in writing detailing the efforts that were made with the local operator to resolve the issue. Please send this with supporting documentation within 30 days of the date of the service. No claim made after this period will be considered.
Any personal information that we collect about you may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of your holiday or to send you marketing material from Travel Just 4U in relation to our events and special offers. We will not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may only be disclosed to our agents, service providers or other suppliers to enable us to operate your holiday.
We are a member of ATAS, accreditation number: A12165. The AFTA Travel Accreditation Scheme (ATAS) is a voluntary industry accreditation scheme that sets the benchmark of quality for the travel industry. AFTA is committed, through ATAS, to elevating travel industry standards in Australia by driving increased and continued participation by travel intermediaries in ATAS and raising consumer awareness of the benefits of booking travel through an ATAS accredited agent.
These Booking Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the country of Australia. Travel Just 4U reserves the right to update these Booking Conditions at any time.
