The adventure begins with a transfer to Paracas, known for it’s beaches and a starting point for Islas Ballestas and to Paracas National Reserve. From here, you will transfer to Pisco airport for a flight over the incredible UNSECO Nazca Lines – drawings believed to be made in the sand by the Nazca culture some 2,000 years ago. UNESCO believes the Nazca lines are the most outstanding group of geoglyphs anywhere in the world and are unmatched in its extent, magnitude, quantity, size, diversity and ancient tradition to any similar work in the world. The concentration and layout of the lines, as well as their cultural continuity, show that this was an important and long-lasting activity, lasting approximately one thousand years.
